With an illustrious career spanning over four decades as a dedicated NHS clinician and leading clinical scientist, Professor Bryan Williams has made remarkable advancements in the field of cardiovascular research. His groundbreaking research has had a profound impact on clinical practices worldwide, resulting in countless lives being saved and improved. As the first and founding Chair of the BHF Clinical Studies Committee and a member of the BHF CRC’s Oversight Board, Professor Williams’ unwavering commitment to cardiovascular clinical research is exceptional and has led to the advancement of better diagnosis and treatment of those living with heart disease – a truly deserved award!
