As the first and founding Chair of the BHF Clinical Studies Committee and a member of the BHF CRC’s Oversight Board, Professor Williams’ unwavering commitment to cardiovascular clinical research is exceptional and has led to the advancement of better diagnosis and treatment of those living with heart disease – a truly deserved award!
