At the recent 2023 European Society of Cardiology (ESC) congress, under the theme of ‘joining forces to protect the heart’, a call for change urging unhealthy cholesterol levels to be addressed as a global health priority was made by the cardiovascular patient community.  Supported by the World Heart Foundation and following the 2022 Global Heart Hub’s ‘Global Cholesterol Action Plan’, a call put together by 70 patient organisations and group shas been made for action to reduce the impact of unhealthy cholesterol levels.  The Global Heart Hub will begin to collect patient insights to better understand patient experiences to improve care and outcomes.  For more information, please click here
