A systematic review of available literature is often an essential step in the development of a research project. We have begun to work alongside Cochrane Heart, a leader in the systematic review process, who aim to make the results of research more easily available and more relevant to healthcare professionals, policy makers and to the public. Our first step in working with Cochrane is to match potential authors to a range of reviews available free of charge. This partnership provides an exciting opportunity to deliver a paper to Cochrane standards, the majority of which are subsequently published in high impact journals, as well as providing the basis of the identification and prioritisation of research questions. We aim to repeat this process every few months and continue to work alongside Cochrane to improve accessibility to the systematic review process for researchers.
